The only advice that I am able to give is be there for her. I don't mean watch her every little second, but be more of a comfort zone for her. If you feel as though she is a real danger to herself, call an ambulance and they can take her to the hospital where she would be able to be admitted for help and observation.
She will probably be upset at first and not understand. However, as time goes on, she'll understand that you were trying to save her life.
I wish you the best of luck. It is not an easy situation to handle. I have been there.

How is she responsible for his death, an accident? She really needs to hear that accidents happen and she needs to forgive herself.
It is very serious that she is wanting to kill herself. She needs to see someone right away. Contact her family, friends and discuss with them what is going on. Let them know the seriousness of this. Anytime a person says they want to kill themselves, especially in a situation like this, they are serious.
Let her know that a therapist can talk to her about this and help to relieve her pain. It is important that she gets talk therapy, not just get an antidepressant (if it is necessary). She must work through her grief, and that takes time and help from a professional who works with people dealing with it.

If she is thinking of killing herself, it is a serious concern. Constant observation is the key because she might be waiting for an opportunity to commit suicide. Still, professional help is valuable. If you have a counselor friend, try talking to that counselor to talk to her. If she does not want to go to the therapist or counselor, then let the therapist or counselor go to her. It will really help.

If she is really thinking of killing herself then you need to get her some help - right now. Talk to her parents, call a suicide prevention line, do whatever you need to do. Drag her to a therapist if you need to - she is depressed and suicidal and obviously not thinking clearly - you can't rely on her judgment. It's not true that people that talk about it don't do it - sometimes they do.

First off... How old are you?
If you are as old as I think you are... then go talk to her parents. If she truly needs help they will be the ones who will be able to get her to it. But otherwise be there to listen when she needs some one to talk to,

All you can do is suggest things to her. You can't make her do anything she doesn't want to. Hopefully it will pass with time. Good luck!
