A Christmas tree is just a material thing that people have added to the celebration of Christ's birth. Symbolically, because an evergreen tree has leaves in the winter and deciduous lose theirs, it may signify clothing for the tree. This is what Christ accomplished with his life, death, and resurrection. Baptism into Christ's and belief that he did rise from the dead makes a person one with him, sharing his righteousness (clothing). I don't think that a Christmas tree is a hate crime unless something else has been symbolically attached to it as a meaning. If you are a Jew, then I believe that you should be proud that Jesus was also a Jew. I don't hate Jews because Jesus was crucified and I don't hate Gentiles for condemning him to death. His submission to death was voluntary. I am glad he did it!

They are nothing of the sort: Christmas trees have nothing to do with Judaism. In Seattle, the Port Authority had put up Christmas trees at the airport. A rabbi asked that a menorah be displayed also. In response, the PA took down the trees -- to the great disgust of everyone, including the rabbi.

X-mas trees are for people too lazy to spell Christmas. Perhaps it should be a crime for people to ask idiotic, nonsensical questions without an understanding of the underlying didactic necessary to address the relevant information.
Get a life, quit believing everyone is attacking you for some inane reason. Read real books, not propaganda pamphlets.

Im Jewish, and when I see my friends who are christian with christmas trees in their house, I dont see it as an anti-semitic problem at all. That is the way people celebrate their holiday. Just like me lighting candles in a Menorah is celebrating my holiday. Neither things are anti-semitic. You are having the holiday spirit.
Now... if you have cross bones and stuff like that on your tree, I guess that is a different story.....

Jeremiah 10:2-4 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society
2 This is what the LORD says:
"Do not learn the ways of the nations
or be terrified by signs in the sky,
though the nations are terrified by them.
3 For the customs of the peoples are worthless;
they cut a tree out of the forest,
and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.
4 They adorn it with silver and gold;
they fasten it with hammer and nails
so it will not totter.
The Bible certainly thinks so.

Only those that hang the tree upside down and who kill more then what actually get bought at sellers.
If the tree catches fire is it a hate crime?

The tree is a Pagan custom and has NOTHING to do with anti-semitism.

Get real! A christmas tree represents love and kindness at least to people who are loving and kind. Who are you Scrooge?

I'm jewish and how in the hell do you figure christmas trees to be antisemetic?
nothing remotely wrong with other people celebrating their holidays in the way they wish.
hell the fact that christmas trees are pagan isn't even a problem jews have issues with. its a christian issue.
