The Bible doesnt say we can cuss people out or be jerks so those who are, are not acting in accordance to the Bible. This is why some of us dont do these things. Atheism however has no such rules so they tend to be even worse.

If you are being serious here, I'd recommend posing that very question to the Christian(s) that insulted you in such a manner. That should spark a little self-examination in said person(s). I just hope you didn't provoke anyone first and now you're complaining about the reaction you got.

It doesnt say that at all. It says you should love your neighbor as yourself. So if you love yourself in a bad way and want to curse yourself out, then Im guessing thats how you would treat your neighbors. But you are suppose to treat everyone with respect, love, and kindness. Although its hard to do at times because some people are so unapreciative, you are still being the better person by not being the jerk.

Christians are not immune to human emotions, such as anger, or hurt feelings, and sometimes we do lash out when we should not.
As you are probably very well aware, there is no verse in the Bible justifying treating other people badly...in face, we are commanded to love one another as our Lord loves us.
In the name of my Lord, Jesus Christ, I apologize for any offense I or any of my brothers and sisters in His Service have given.

This is a good one for me. My brother is a pastor. NO WHERE does it allow you to treat others that way ! Read John 1-2 & 3 ! You cant judge, BUT determine by the fruits they bear ! Jesus talked and prayed with EVERYONE ! Remember when he wrote the sins of eveyone out in the sand ? One by one they walked away ! Hope that helps......

There is nothing in the bibe that say Christains can cuss out or insult anyone. In fact it states you should forgive your brother 70 X 7.

One of the ten commandments says: Do not take the Lord's name in vain. So, not only is it not allowed, it is forbidden. But nobody is going to heaven -- it's a fiction.

Funny, the Christian answers I read are almost always respectful. They go to Heaven because they trust Jesus for His saving grace. They don't go to hell for telling a rude person off.

What are you talking about? Anyway, Christians aren't perfect. Everyone sins, no exception. Sorry you've had bad experience with people who consider themselves to be Christian, they aren't acting like Christians.

You won't find it in the Bible. Jesus loves you and has faith in you no matter what. Take your questions to Jesus, people always have the ablity to let you down. : )

Yes. I have seen that on this site many times. I never used profanity myself, but the Christians do it a lot. They are not like normal people.
