Ok here goes... Ever since 2nd grade every 4 years I have a dream that tells me who's going to be the president of the US. I have deja- vu nearly every day at least twice a day. I can see angels, demons, and other spirits. I've been attacked by demons and/or evil spirits about three times. and I've seen a couple of miracles take place. Tell me... am I going crazy?? please help!!!

additional details:
I am 18, and a catholic (which could explain a lot). And some of this is realy starting to frighten me bc I'm not exactly sure what's happening and why it's happening to me.

Crazy is just a "term". No one is crazy in my opinion, but might have an abnormal view of reality in comparison to others of their culture.

I personally think you should talk to someone since you are stressed by what you feel it happening to you. Just talking to someone can help alleviate some of the stress so you can deal with your problems.

A lot of people go through a little episode in their late teens/early 20's where they think they are going crazy because entering adulthood is super overwhelming in our culture, because we are lied to so much throughout our youth.

I think you are probably a very psychic person. I see this as a gift that should be developed, not something to be afraid of. I recommend that you read some of Sylvia Browne's books (she's a famous psychic). I think a lot of your questions would be answered. I've read many of her books, they're fascinating. You can also see her on The Montel Williams Show every Wednesday morning. I really like her, everything she talks about centers around God. Just keep an open mind.

You may be suffering from a temporal lobe defect, also known as temporal lobe epilepsy, which can cause some severe misfiring throughout the brain, causing hallucinations both visual and auditory, and extremely vivid dreams. Such defects can typically be fixed by surgery and you should be right as rain.

You may also be suffering from schizophrenia. Because you subscribe to systematized delusional fairy tales (Catholocism), this is the more probable explanation, as we can statistically show that the more religious someone is, the more likely they are to either have or develop a serious mental illness. You need to consult a trained medical professional and you will probaly require an antipsychotic medication.

As for dreams about who the president will be, that's a fairly common dream. To only have it once every four years actually puts you on the statistical low end of that dream.

I would like to suggest that you read into the writings of Eliphas Levi he was a catholic priest , but had a through understanding of occult subjects and ideas , unfortunately there is very little the catholic church has to offer on these matters ,

I assure there is no need for you to be scared its not uncommon for people to have such experience, you are certainly not crazy , gifted maybe, crazy never if you ever want to talk to someone open-minded and non-judgemental my emails in my profile

no, your not neccesarily going crazy, these things are quite real.

Catholicism has a pretty extensive spiritual and occult(that doesn't mean evil... it just means stuff thats "hidden" and mystical type things) beliefs and traditions and such.

if your observant catholic, and/or you do realy feel most comfortable with catholic stuff, then your best bet is probably to talk to a priest and see if you can be referred to someone who knows more about the metaphysical stuff.

I'm sure there are people wh you could talk to within the catholic church that would be able to help you.

edit: also if you would be interested, I have a few other thoughts that might be more specific and such, if you'd like to e-mail me.

Sounds to me that you're in-tuned with the spiritual world and all it's perks. Being Catholic has nothing to do with it. You have a calling in your life and you need to find out how to use your gift. Be careful who you speak to about this some may actually think you're crazy. Read books, research the Internet, speak to college professors who you think may
be able to help you subjectively. Not everyone has the gift you have. Embrace the power.

I think the only crazy thing is you knew George W. Bush was going to be president twice and you did NOTHING to stop that?

Seriously. What is wrong with you?

Other than that I think you're fine. You might want to go see your clergyman about the demon thing though. Sounds very unpleasant.

the fact that you're Catholic does explain alot, I believe of all Christians, Catholics are most conservative but when you read about Jesus and the apsotles and disciples after his ascension into heaven and the experiences they had and the wonders that God allowed...you realise that just because we live in darkened times than then doesn't mean that God's power is any less.
Embrace the gifts and experiences he blesses you with and use them to His glory and never doubt the existence of the spiritual realm but if your covered in Jesus' blood you don't have to fear it.

NO,YOU'RE NOT CRAZY
