yes, layering it will make it look a bit thicker too, and give a bit of shape

DON"T get your thick hair thinned down!!! I have thick hair, and lots of it, so its verrrry poofy, and i got it thinned a couple years ago. It looked dreadful!! The top of my head was a big poofy mess, and i had very little hair at the bottom. I guess that could be stylish if you like that kind of hairstyle though. I have long layers right now, and it looks much nicer. Layering makes it LESS poofy looking if you ask me. So I think you should probably layer it. Make sure you ask for long layers though.

I've got the same kind of hair, and layering works very well for me. I kept it long for a while, but fairly short and feathered (continuous layers) works best with my fine, straight hair.

From what I've seen, getting it layered does work, and it will make your hair look fuller (and generally a lot more flattering). But it does depend on where you live, because if you live in a very humid or dry area, your hair might look frizzier.

I do too. If it is long, layering will make it even thinner. Remember layers take hair away! Short and layered works somehow.

Sure thats a good thing because it will create some volume , try some hilites too becuase the ligther color make it look like more hair and the chemical will create some frizzynes(not much dont be scared) that you can use for volume. Dont forget the volumizing shampoo

You actually should get it layered. it will add texture and give the illusion of thickness.
