Have you ever dated or slept with someone outside your race???

Question

I usually dont talk about $hit like this but maybe there are older people on here during sunday nights.
There is this girl i work with at my job. She is white and very attractive. Now i dont have any problems with race at all, here is why i ask this question.
She like me and two days ago she said she wants to spend some time with me outside of work. She also said that she lived alone that that i could spend the night with her.
As stated before, i have no problems with race. Its just that i have never been intimate with a white woman before....i grew up in an all black neighborhood in Atlanta (im in louisiana now.). I just dont want to be too aggressive with her. i dont know if the majority of white girls like things slow or fast. has someone who has dated outside thier race give me a good answer? thank you.

I am a white woman who has had several interracial relationships including relationships with black men. As far as if she wants the relationship to go slow or fast- that has nothing to do with her race, its an individual thing. If she's already telling you that you can spend the night with her at her house then it sounds to me like she's interested in some booty!! Hang out with her outside of work, don't take things too fast just yet, get to know her a little better and then you will be able to tell what she wants and how to operate around her. If you find that you have spent more time getting to know her and you still don't know what kind of relationship she wants, just ask her! I do understand there are some cultural differences between people of different races, but in the end people are people! Just be yourself and act as if you would if you are dating within your own race - if she doesn't like it that's her loss!!

I've never dated a white woman or a black man for that point. I've married and only slept w/white men. I would hope that men are men, race doesn't matter. We all wanted to be treated with respect and as the kings/queens we are. So, that being said.. be respectful, honest, and don't play any games and you should be fine.

Nothing is wrong with it. I grew up the same way,when I was dating, I dated others of different races and it can be interesting but remember, there is really no difference, we are all the same in some way. I'm married now, but for you....enjoy life, if you date her or any other woman, treat her well.

I've been with the same black man for 9 years, nothing wrong with the interracial thing. Some women like an aggressive man if she is already feeling you. It's sometimes expected ;)

We're all people. She's probably more like you and the people you grew up with then you think. She obviously likes things to move fast if she invited you to spend the night right off the bat....be careful.
