It depends on many factors.
1. Do you have a dog? If so, what age? Puppies and cats, dogs and kittens: those combinations are the best ones to combine. Adult cats and adult dogs are generally harder to introduce.
2. Do you have time on your hands and in your schedule for a while to deal with a playful kitten? Kittens, if you don't get two so that they can have company, will go crazy by themselves and play with anything within their reach. So you may want to spend a lot of time playing with your kitten until it's not so playful. Adult cats get along very well on their own during the day, provided that there is enough food and water to last them.
3. With kittens, you have to litter box train them. Cats that have been previously owned most often already know this and you just have to show them where it is.
4. Cats are more set in their ways. What you see is what you get. A kitten will be more unpredictable.
Hope this helped some!

It's really up to you. I've adopted a cat from the Humane Society and had a kitten. The benefit of getting an older cat is that there's no accidents and they spay/neuter it for you before you take the cat home. When I got Bogart(the cat I got as a kitten) he'd sometime's poop in the wrong area or pee some where random. I didn't want to have him fixed since he's an indoor car, but it was badly needed. He's a perfectly happy little guy to this day. I think a lot of people get kittens because they think that they're cute and they want to be around you all day, but the truth is kittens just want to run around and play all day lol.

I would say get adult cats but make sure you know what their temperament is like. Everyone adopts kittens so you know they will always get a home. But older cats are just left at shelters.
I got 2 adult male cats 5 wks ago, one is 10/11yrs old and the other is 2/3 yrs old. Their owner had died and they had been at a shelter for 8-10 mths. They are wonderful I don't know how people could have resisted them. They are wonderfully affectionate and no trouble at all.

This is an easy one! Go to your local shelter and adopt an older cat. Everybody seems to want a kitten, completely ignoring the older ones, not even giving them a glance. Some of the older ones have been there for years, while all the kittens get adopted right away. The older ones deserve a chance, too. Plus, if you go to a shelter, you'll be saving a life!!

If you really want a good bond with it you should get a kitten. However there are many adult cats in shelters and at the humane society that are just as good. With the adults they may be set in their ways, and then some are already litter box trained etc. depends on how much time you have to spend with it.

Get a kitten, 6 months or younger would be ideal. Then it will grow up with you and you two will have a better chance of developing a closer bond. Also, get to know the cat/kitten before you take him/her home, a curious, playful and loving one is what I'd pick, and make sure he/she is healthy and up to date on all vaccinations. Good luck

If you get a kitten, it will be playful and cute, and you can get it to be really fond of you. The disadvantages are, it will claw everything it can claw around the house, it will knock things off shelves and jump on you at night when you're sleeping because it wants to play. (You can put "soft paws" nail caps on its claws to cut down on scratching damage.)
If you get an adult, it will be more settled down, maybe set in its ways. You can see what its temperament is already. It may still be affectionate; each cat has a different personality.

It's not possible to not age. However, you'll be able to avoid getting older (bodily getting older method) to a specified quantity. Apparently darkish chocolate comprises antioxidants which would "avoid" getting older to a specified quantity. Mentally nevertheless, you'll be able to act some thing age you desire and lie approximately your age. Lol.
