Well this depends on what you are using it for. If it is just for snapshots and family gatherings sure its an ok camera. It's a 6mp camera so it will produce photo quality prints up to 6.5inx10in. But, if you don't mind hashing out a little more money then I would say get either a Nikon Coolpix P4 8.1MP Digital Camera, or a Canon PowerShot SD800 IS 7.1MP Digital Elph Camera.
