That's pretty good actually. That's almost 1.5% of your total bodyweight and that's not bad at all.

Make sure you're using a spotter when doing heavier weights, and concentrate on good form (this is very important to get the most out of the lift and to prevent injury). As your body develops, try pushing yourself by doing heavier weight and fewer reps (powerlifting). Over time you'll see some real gains in your max lift.

If possible, get a decent personal trainer to help as you progress.

First, there is no list of what is good or bad when bench pressing.
ANY form of weightlifting, in my opinion, is good, for any one at any age.
Second, when bench pressing, invest in a power rack. You can then bench press a LOT heavier, and do it 100% safely. Spotters are NOT safe at any time.
When lifting, buy some steel washers with openings the same size as your weight bar. Standard bar; 1" Olympic bar; 1-1/2". Place washers on the bar once a week. This way you SLOWLY increase your bar weight so the body is tricked. It does not know you are increasing the weight. So you lift more. Second, lift every OTHER day. You get stronger when resting, not when lifting.

yes, thats very good, when i was 15 150 was a stuggle for me, and i played football and lifted 2-3 times a week....so keep at it but dont push yourself all the time, it is very bad for your spine and your plates and stuff, also you can pull a muscle almost anywhere in your body and that sux real bad, so do somthin kinda easy but not real easy, i'd say 140 and do extra reps all the time, and slowly keep moving up every month or 2, no more that 10 lb. increments, and always do extra reps, it will tone your muscles and you will still get stronger and your muscles will tolerate higher weight when you do want to push yourself

At 15 you should only bench press 80-170 so yes that is good.

The rule is more reps, less weight. And your supposed to try to not lift over your own weight.

It's not healthy to over kill when your not an adult yet because it can effect your bone and muscle developement.

So for your health,... NO. I would suggest not constantly useing that weight to work with,.. just a little bit to up up to where your max is,.. but not much else (and make sure you have spotters). Try to do more like 50 pounds and rep mindlessly forever and ever and ever >.<

I don't know, but you're lucky, im fifteen, and weak as ever. I can't bench press that much. I guess you should have a little more weight in muscle but i can't vouch for that information. I don't think you really should lift so much. I've heard it can stunt your growth. How tall are you?

stop hectic plenty approximately how plenty you may bench. At your place velocity, agility, and type could be plenty greater efficient. no longer too point out imaginative and prescient (unlike a working backs, the style the place you recognize who the ball is going to on a pass and the place it is going to likely be). attempt doing widely used sprints, suicides, and repeats (jog, sprint, jog, sprint etc). that would desire to improve your velocity. For agility, ladders, speedy feet excercises, familiar agility (something the place you would be able to desire to cut back with out postpone) ought to help. additionally, artwork on your bounce (so as which you will... borrow the ball from opposing recievers greater incredibly). subsequent, given which you're incredibly small, I advise discovering a thank you to hit human beings effectively. because of the fact of your length you will no longer have the flexibility to easily harm human beings (they'll likely run you over). instead, you would be able to desire to decrease your shoulder to their hip and wrap their legs up with your arms so as that they are able to't flow their legs andcontinual foward. That'll take them down every time in case you do it wisely (believe me i'm 5'5" and a hundred and fifteen and it works on females thrice my length, ie all and sundry else on the sector). Worst includes worst, in simple terms carry on until a teammate bails you out. finally, I advise gazing heavily once you're on the sidelines. ascertain what the starters do (and make changes to your guy or woman understanding and barriers). attempt to ascertain how recievers and quarter backs provide away the play and passes by using the way they look or flow. in case you may tell whilst and the place the ball is going to be it's going to make your job that plenty greater handy. Oh, and one greater element, do no longer beg the instructor to be put in. possibilities are high he's plenty plenty greater probably to place you in in case you attempt incredibly annoying and coach him which you will advance and become a good participant. Begging/asking will purely make him annoyed.

That is good. I am 14 and I do about 105 pounds, on a good day. I weigh more than you, and I am taller, so if anyone is week it is me. So don't worry about it. Just keep training, I am trying to get stronger too.
