I have never come across a woman who likes them...I wonder why they are so popular? If, from a group of 100 women, you ask if they prefer metrosexuals or traditional men, I am sure 90% will say traditional men....then why do metroes get so much media hype?

Hello maddy005,

I think you are wrong about that. Women prefer men who are clean in appearance and behave politely. I have one son who fits the metrosexual type (showers and shaves daily, wears clean stylish clothing, styles hair, takes good care of his teeth, ect), in addition to looking clean in appearance, he is polite and respectful. And I have one retrosexual son (smells like he never bathes, wears worn out comfy clothing, doesn't save or cut hair, etc), in addition to looking and smelling like a bum, he is much less polite and shows little respect for anyone......

Out of a group of 100 women, most would prefer the metrosexual son over the retrosexual son. Honestly!

I think if you ask a women if she like's metrosexuals she'll say no. But if you ask her "do you like a man who takes showers, has nice hair, dresses well, smells good, is willing to shop with her and is a gentleman" she will 100 percent of the time say yes. That's what a metro is, women love them.

metrosexuals are out. Big hairy beer guzzling men who belch and like women to serve them are back in. Get with the times

The 'mirror men'.....They get the media hype because they are the only ones that will buy what the media calls 'fashionable' and 'cool'.

But some people will buy anything.

Metroes look good on camera, and they sell cosmetics for the big companies. That's it.
I prefer traditional myself..

Apparently it's not 'hip' and 'in' to be a man these days. The best thing a man can be in this bimbo dominated queendom is a bender. Bad news for us hetero males but if any ho wants to chop mine off, I'll punch her teeth through her head.

I'm going with Sarcastro. I don't know, why would we focus on men who know how to properly wash their ***, not pick the zits on his chest, not chug beer from a funnel, not play a wizard with a massive sword of destruction, and can dress himself without his woman laying his clothes out for him? Boy, that is a mystery. *snicker* ;)

it depends, a lot of people have the terms mixed up, I prefer traditional men that take care of themselves, you know, match their clothes, smell good, look nice, I don't want a guy that uses more facial cream or hairspray than me, it all depends, I would have to say 50% of each.

I hate to say it, but theres an agenda out there to push immoral behavior into the spotlight to try to make it the norm. You and I both know the majority doesn't agree with it.
