Okay, the question basically is, I like this guy who's super popular, and he likes me back. I'm not popular like him, but everyone in my grade knows me and I'm that kind of popular. He hasn't talked to me since my friends told him I liked him, but then he left a message on my cell phone telling me he liked me back. What should our next step be?

go for it. it doesn't matter if your not as popular as he is. and if people do not like that both of you like each other, don't listen to them they are just jealous.okay?! so since you guys confirmed that you like him and he likes you too, then ask him if he would like to hang out sometime. and don't be afraid, fear isn't going to get you anywhere. hope that helps. good luck. :)

Hello, act normal. Don't do anything, because if he is interested in you he will make an extra effort to show you he cares about you.
Also since he is very popular he may have some peer pressure and might not want to approach you publicly; but either way allow him to make the first move then you can respond accordingly.

go and talk to him outside of school --- go somewhere do something together --- get to know each other and who cares if he is popular at school --- when you leave no one will know him --- he will be a face in the crowd
