It's best each time you get a perm or wash and yes if you don't cut them your hair will break.

You do not have to cut your ends if they are healthy. Evey six weeks, that's stupid, your hair will never grow! Start off with a good hair cut and once every two months, if you notice split ends, do a light trimming or dusting.

i would assume same as any other colored woman. if you take proper care of it, every 6 weeks. what?? you ask if you hair will break off if you don't cut split ends? that doesn't make sense. dry hair breaks off. geez go see a beautician.

every 3 months anything sooner than that and your be cutting your new growth out - your hair would stay the same length forever.

i prefer every 6 weeks.....if its not maintained that it can caused the split ends to travel up to the hair shaft.....
