i think u should let him explain if you really like your man its worth working out,i dont agree with the fact you went behind his back to read his phone thats a break of trust on your part so he might be upset with you as well

you never said if your friend was telling you about it to set him up, or if was intimate talk, or anything. why set him up for a fall when you could have been honest from the beginning and asked him with the first message. Too many games for me, grow up and be honest and just ask him what's up.

You should stop reading your boyfriends private messages, if you feel he is not trustworthy, then you should breakup with him.
There is nothing wrong with casual conversation between friends, whether it is your best friend and boyfriend or not. Bottom line is this, if you trust him, stop snooping, if you don't trust him then you should breakup with him and find someone you can trust.
