Agnostics , like atheists, have a lack of beleif that a god exists, that beleif isn't present in them, making them dishonest (with themselves) Atheists.

Atheism, Here's why. Agnosticism is the refusal to take any stance at all. "An Agnostic is the type to say "I cant prove these claims are true, and you cant prove that they are false. So the only proper conclusion is: I don't know; no one knows; no one can no one way or the other" (Leonard Peikoff, "The Philosophy of Objectionism" lecture series (1976), Lecture 6). Atheism is at least an actual belief that something does not exist.
Also, Agnostics take the arbitrary claims of a theist into account as ideas proper to consider, discuss and evaluate. Atheists only use arguments based on strong scientific theory or fact.

Saying atheism or agnosticism is better is truley a matter of poinion.
Its like asking for a definition of perfection. its all in the eye of the beholder.
Atheism though is blantant on its beliefe in no God/s
Agnostics atleast have the courtesy to let other opinions say freeflowing and not shot them down as "blind lies"
Your question can not have and answer. but Agnosticism keeps ones mind open to imagination and acceptance of other ideas about "god/gods"

In a choice between the two, I'd go with agnosticism. There is no way to prove one way or the other - strong Atheists who claim that they "know" otherwise are, IMHO, just as guilty as factless belief as those of us who believe in a Higher Power.
Agnostics are being the most honest, by stating that they don't claim to be able to know.
My $0.02.

Of course it would have to be agnosticism. An agnostic says he doesn't know if there is a god. Atheists says he KNOWS there is no god. To claim to KNOW that there is absolutely no possibility of something greater, something so far above us as to be potentially unknowable is to claim omniscience which is ridiculous and arrogance to the highest degree.

Well, on my screen, it is atheism with a colon in front, that is closer to your typed 'truth'. But, in life, neither can open a can of beans.

Agnosticism.Atheism is just a religion unto itself. You believe their is no God ,you don't know that. It's convenient to have no God ,that way you can be creepy and think no one knows or you have no responsibility to a higher power. At least agnosticism says ,"I'm not willing to say there is no God ,I'm just hoping I can figure a way around Him."
