I want to install a dishwasher where there has been none. I have a relatively useless set of bottom cabinets to the right side of the sink I would like to remove. Is it possible to take them out without removing the countertop? If so what is the easiest way to do this?

First check if it is a box unit ,that is a cabinet by it self that measures 24" wide , you can be sure of it if you notice a line of joining between the two side cabinets , if there is , you could possibly remove it , Assuming that you can ... or that is a cabinet by it self ... first remove any drawers that it may have ,then check in the inside along the wall and under the counter top in the inside of the cabinet, on the upper part there should be wooden rails and probably should be 2 or 4 screws two in front two at the back , get a screw driver that matches the configuration of the screw head , and remove them , then along the side of the doors and or the very tight corner of the cabinet on each side could be a screw .. remove them , then you have to cut the front of the kick plate in front of your cabinet , you can use a hack saw blade, slided it between the cabinets and cut it to the floor , then check for possible screws under the counter top on the neighbouring cabinets , you need to do this to force carefully the counter top upwards just enough to slide the cabinet out , basically check for all possible screws in the cabinet to be removed and the neighbouring cabinets , and under the top , and slided it carefully , and once removed .... there you are , good luck .
