No. Crusading is generally a bad idea because it involves imposing things on people that they don't want -- everything from philosophical / religious ideas to unfamiliar systems of government. It may succeed temporarily but it always turns sour after awhile. (See the Christian Crusades and the invasion of Iraq)

Besides, atheists should be under no illusions about the likelihood of making a lot of converts in a short time -- it ain't gonna happen. People _like_ to believe in god, or magic crystals, or alien abductions, or Elvis sightings -- that's why belief persists despite the lack of evidence or even in the face of contrary evidence. If they didn't enjoy it, they would stop believing.

Having said that, there is no reason for atheists to be silent when believers make unsupportable claims. Criticism is not intolerance.

lol....way to seize the moral high ground there, man.
No need to go crusading. The natural tendency of things is to evolve from credulity to curiosity, and religion is being slowly out-evolved as people get more and more able to face the universe on its own terms. Getting involved in a crusade right now would just deflect attention from the non-existence of gods and engage those with delusions of grandeur in a debate that can't be won.

Just chill, crack open a beer and wait for the inevitable decline of religion everywhere.

All you religious people are a like, Atheist and Christians are exactly the same. Different point of view, but still fanatics about nonsense.
Have you considered just living your life with integrity.
drop the REASON for doing right. just do it for doing it and not lable your self with a group. be an individual.
grow up and be your self and forget the dogma.
If there is or there is not a god. So what! What difference does it make.

If atheists were to have an atheist "crusade," they would have to call it something else, because the word "crusade" comes from the word for "cross." Then don't be surprised when Jesus comes for the saved and you don't get taken up into the clouds to meet him.

A crusade for education is much in need, but it won't attract the people who would benefit from it the most. They have the bible and don't think they need anything else.

Your avatar is dark and evil. Sometimes I stumble when I see suffering in the world, sometimes I blame God. But then I see that humans are the ones that are egocentric and evil and not God. But even if God does not exists for you, do you still love Evil? change your avatar and user name.

Yes. And carry banners and signs. Try using "Eyema Nidiat' as a slogan people can remember.
