Don't force it... worse thing you could do. If you don't feel it right now, give it some time, maybe it will come. You'll know when it's right. Just tell him, "I'm flattered you feel that way toward me, but I'm not quite there. Please give me some time, and lets see how this goes." If he can't understand that, cut him loose. You'll know when you should say it. It just feels right in your heart.
