I myself live and deal poker in Vegas, and it is location, location, location. If you deal in a busy house then you will get more days and you will get more players and tips. As a dealer you get money money from players in cash games called tokes. And you get money from tournaments, this is split up by how many downs you deal during the tournament. You only get minimum wage so your check isn't much but you deal 30-35 hands per hour and depending on how they tips you average a dollar a pot, but it can be a bigger tip if you deal a big no limit game or if it is a regular or some big pots in a row. Some nights can suck because you might get a table that stiffs you on your tokes, but on average i get 25 an hour, sometimes 30 depending. But dealing can be stressful with drunks, idiots, ****** floor people and so on.

as with real estate it is location, location, location -last i heard(2001) poker dealers in Gulfport made about 17 an hour but that was great money in MISSISSIPPI so it is relative .Some of the real cute asian dealers in LosAngles poker rooms can make 70k a year due to their prowess with a deck of cards (they can deal 19 hands in 30 min and those wackos tip 2-4 dollars a hand!)do the math $36-$50 bucks an hr!

In Vegas, dealers make minimum wage plus tips. You can tip the dealer two ways, either by making dealer bets for them or by tipping them directly. I primarily make dealer bets based on how friendly the dealer is and how well the cards are falling for me.

Depends upon a lot of things. My bf was one in Iowa and was paid $7.50/hr + tips. Equalling around $15-20. And again...that's in IA, so it is probably much more elsewhere.
