Your man is not your man; he is with others. So don't knock yourself out changing from being an orange into an apple. If he is trying to change you, and intimidating your with dating others, and telling you how to be when with him, you need to let someone else have him. There are plenty of men out there who will love you just as you are. Leave your comfort zone of emotional abuse, and be free. No one will want you until you are unattached; if they do, you will be playing the same game as your now boyfriend. Change partners, but don't change into something you are not.

You don't need a man..no one does (just like they don't need a woman)...but many of us desire a partner (that's not the same as need).
Get some self respect...learn to be independent and self reliant...you'll be ready to be a better partner then...
