Yes there should be a law against naming kids after cars!

Some parents name their children wacky things such as a website but if laws are enacted about this, it would be a little too personal, for lack of a better word.

If the government makes rules against names, little by little they'll make rules about everything else like how much TV a child watches, curfews, food intake, etc. The government should only step in when it absolutely must.

Hahahahahaha

Not a law, but common sense should prevail. As we know though when it comes to naming the next generation there are a lot of nuts out there. Nothing is safe anymore, states, countries, cities, cars, hotels, food products, animals, and even scrabble tiles thrown onto the floor!

What's the matter with you? There are already sufficient laws that someone could probably get away with suing you for violating copyrights without permission if you name your kid after a car, if there were enough money in it. Don't we have enough incredibly stupid laws already? If this country weren't so full of lemmings, we wouldn't need a government. Go away.

whats wrong with naming your kids after cars? not many people have those names. its special. its really up to the parent. the law can only intervene in so much.

heck no! we have enough laws and why does it matter to you so much that some kids are named after cars, I see nothing wrong with it at all.

Like what? Escalade? Or Suburban? Taurus? Kia? Hahahaha...this gets funnier the more I think about it.

I've never seen a kid named after a car before.

There should be a law against not being able to name ytour children whatever the heck you feel like naming them. How bad of you to judge just because it is not your taste. Shame shame.

of course there should be and the punishment should be assigning firing squad to the parents.
yeah, imagine your kid all grown up and he is in bed with his gf and she starts with "can you go any faster, ferrari? you do it like a old fiat!"

As far as common sense goes, from what i see everyday, common sense is not so common.

Regards!

No, I'm sure the consequences of some girl getting named "Mercedes" is really a punishment in and of itself.
