My hair is down to my belly button and is naturally wavy. well every time i brush it it goes... POOF!!! It gets really big and frizzy. It's not dry, and it's not Oliy. It's really soft, it's just too big! (I would totally fit in in 1986!) So most of the time I just wear it in a ponytail, but I love my hair. (It's a really pretty blond) well anyways, if y'all have any suggestions I'm open to 'em! oh BTW, I can't blow dry it because it makes my hair mad.. LOL!! and straightener don't work well with me.

Blow dry with a diffuser (it's a special attachment for your hair dryer). That's probably the reason your hair freaks out when you blowdry. Also try defrizzing serums :

1. Aveda light elements smooting fluide
2. Bumble and Bumble DeFrizz
3. John Frieda frizz ease (if you want to go cheap)

And don't brush your hair when it's dry! That is a sure way to make wavy or curly hair poofy! use a hair pick if you have to.

PS: please don't listen to the person who said to get your hair cut in layers. When you have shorter layers on top- they tend to frizz out even more! I know from experience!

I think you should first work in a good leave in conditioner into your hair before brushing it out. I recommend Paul Mitchell. Also, you can prep your hair by washing it with Bedhead's Control Freak shampoo and conditioner. Hope this helps!

LUCKY! I wish I had your hair. You should try a spray, something light and water-based. A shine spray might be a good start, since it makes flyaways less noticeable. Also, condition your hair frequently and cut down how often you shampoo, and it will obey!

Get a good layered haircut. Layers should help to minimize the yield sign effect. Or you can try styling products like Redken Straight 05, which I swear by.
