Sorry this is not a question, instead this is a very important message.. Recent i have been checking out videos about Puppy mills, and what i saw was very shocking, and heartbreaking.. By buying a cute puppy at a pet store you are supporting puppy mills.. Please go to your local shelter and pick up a cute dog or puppy there.. What is a puppy mill you ask.. well check this website out, and this video and see for your self..

I am part of a rescue, and have been all my adult life (56).

Whats the cost of a puppy mill puppy?
The lives of it's parents.

So many puppy mills/back yard breeders have opened up here in Marinette County, WI - and surrounding areas. I feel it's a losing battle trying to get them shut down, and even attempting to resuce some of their breeding stock.
Did you know too, that they will get all those cute dogs - Free to good homes! - and house them in barns, never to see the light of day, again.. breeding.

I agree with you. Puppy mills are awful. We always get shelter pups. The one we have now is a rescue mutt. She was a stray we found on the side of a highway. She was an adorable puppy and has turned into a gorgeous dog. Sweetest, most loyal and most intellegent pup I have ever owned. And healthier by a far cry.

I agree with you totally and believe me when I tell you that everyone of pets have been adopted from a animal shelter or picked up on the side of the road and they all have been the best friend you could ever want....and again the word is WANT!
This holiday season when you want to give someone a gift of Love and Friendship, give them an adopted pet.
