i have a friend that likes me and i like her but her father is really strict about guys dating her so should i just go agiants what her father says and just go out with her or wait till were 16

ha ha sounds like my dad. okay, if you really like your friend to have a serious relationship with her, then what you should do is you be a gentlemen and ask her parents for permission. DO NOT (and i repeat), do not go out with her secretly because bad things could happen. like a friend of her parents might have seen you guys going out and then they'll call her parents, then her parents will call your parents and all this other stuff. so check with her parents to see if its okay to go out with her. Impress them, don't act (not offense) stupid, show them how gentlemen you can be. maybe you should have dinner with them one day, and ask her fathers permission in private. i hope that my reply will help you. good luck!

The dad is probably just waiting for her to meet a guy that he approves of, 16 or not. Get on his side and become as appealing as possible and he should approve. First, make sure that she knows what you're doing. Good luck.

Okay, my dad is exactly the same way about me and my guys. He's too protective, but what you have to do is make sure you talk to this girl you like, and ask her what ticks off her father. Make yourself appealing to him, and I hope she goes out with you! Best of luck!

Just wait....and stay her friend. Hang out with her around her dad...as friends. That way he'll be used to you already when you turn 16 and want to date. When you want to take her out when you are 16 make sure you ask him first....he'll like that.
Don't disrespect her dad.

Well if you really like her and you are willing to take the risk well then go for it... but seriously i dont think it will end up working out for u two because it will be hard to go out together somewhere with out her dad finding out. think before you decide good luck!

well even tho im 14 & i probably dont know that much about "love", there is one thing that i know & that's when u like sum1 & they like u, then it doesnt really matter about what the rest of the world thinks coz its ur own individual choice to make so if u really like this chick then go 4 it bud!!! i'll tell ya i lil story of mine.........i was goin out with this guy & his family didnt like me but because we were so close (like bestfriends) we wouldnt let anything come between us, even our families, & when i found out his family didnt like me, i confronted them & said, "look i really like ur son & no matter what u do or say, ur not goin to change how we feel about eachother" so after that his family understood how we felt & everything was cool, so, go get ya gurl!!

If you are SERIOUS about her then I think it would be best to just stay friends and wait. There shouldn't be any rush.
But if you aren't serious and would want to risk having disapproval from her family, you know what the options are.

stay friends but wait for the serious dating until your 16. never come between a girl and her dad it will make him hate you and in the end she will hate you too if you make a conflict between them.
