what is the air temperature and water temperature like in the winter? what is the dropout rate for BUD/S during the winter as opposed to the summer?

The temp doesn't really matter... those that pass through are very special, very motivated people. They didn't really care they just did what had to be done.

The dropout rate is the same. They just compute your max time in the water based on the water temp so it will be shorter but just as brutal.... An hour in 64 degree water or 30 minutes in 54 degree water, there's no difference.

the 60's and a very high drop out, I had 6 people on my ship who never made it past week one, hell week is the 3rd week
