I want to add stuff to my room to make it more me have any ideas?? read additional details?

im 13 and my room is a light purple and im really girly i like music and my room is really small what can i put to make it look bigger?? or add stuff to make it more teenish

Add mirrors to make it look bigger. Put up framed pictures of you and your friends and family. I've framed sheet music and hung it. That looks nice. You can also frame greeting cards that you love. Display your pictures of people and things you love. And make your prized possessions part of the decor. Souvenirs from vacations or special times should be out so your guests can see them and ask you about it. And maybe a book or two about something you love. Good Luck!

I had a purple room. We painted my furniture white, I had a twin bed and wood floors, that made it look bigger.
Don't put too much on the walls it makes it close in too much, You could paint musical notes behind your bed headboard or on the white furniture to make it more teenish..

I would add mirrors to your room - helps it look bigger. Full length mirrors on the backside of you doors works well. Also helps with getting the right outfits picked out. I would add a corkboard (maybe above your desk )to your room this way you can add pictures and important item to you - this way its easy to change when your mood or likes change. Well since your room is small, utilize the wall space if possible by putting little niches or shelves to hold things rather than shelves or cases which take up floor space.

You coiuld put little bud vases or jars with "fake" flowers in your favorite colors. You could find inexpensive pictures (at Target, Ross, etc.) and hang those. Of course there's always posters of bands you like, or celebrities.

Make sure your curtains or window blinds or shades are decorative. Get a nice comforter or quilt that coordinates with sheets/pillowcases, and toss throw pillows in different sizes and shapes on the bed.

I like purple too, you can try to add rugs that are a light pink or a pretty blue or colors you like, chair of your choice and a bookshelf to put what you like on it, you can also add really nice curtains with a pretty rod then to make it more roomy or nice have a lot of pillows of the color of choice on your bed!

well its always good to add some pics of u and ur frnds. the really good thing that will def make ur room heaps bigger is to put mirrors in it because mirrors make the room appear endless and a great way to check urself out hehe...
dont hav too many items in ur bedroom, keep it clean
