Damn you sound like me. i wish i had a million dollars for each time i said that.
Love Does Suck. The heart loves who the heart loves.. good or bad... and pain, happiness, joy, anger, hurt, desire, passion... all of that comes with it.
if we are lucky to truley fall in love once in our lifetime.. we hold on to that.. good or bad.. i have been fortunate to find someone i totally believe is my soulmate... but indeed all those things listed above came with it... hang in there... funny how things tend to work out for the best.. i am wishing you that :)

Sadly, im not sure that there is a single correct answer to this question. When it all comes down to it, I, as a man, can say we are to blame. I am horrific. I have been in a relationship for 7 months and have been nothing but a best friend and a lover to my partner, however when i am drunk i seemingly have no control over myself. Love hurts because its easier for us to understand physical pain than the immensely complex emotion that is love. I love love, but i fear for myself when love is involved. I apologise for the poor answer but the fact is its different for everyone. Whether it was a 1 month whirlwind romance or a 50 year marriage, love is unbelievably painful.

Love is just like a coin there are to sides to love just like there are two sides to a coin. Love when it is new or lasting it is like a precious jewel but when it fades into nothingness only pain and darkness remains and this is just the way it will stay, In a way love is a curse.

It's true.
One thing I try to remember when I get hurt by someone I love is that their behaviour/words, etc. usually isn't the problem, so much as my unrealistic expectations of that person.
If you try to look at things this way, you may realize that maybe the other person, while acting thoughtlessly, isn't really trying to hurt you. It's a small consolation, i know, but isn't feeling even a little better worth it?
Feel better, sister!

It`s not the love that is letting you down it`s the other person in your relationship that is not living up to your standards and then you feel let down and dejected, and thats what does it to you.

everyone has their heart broken at one point or another but when it gets broken is what you do is get up and move on but it will take time to that you just need to give yourself time to do so and there is always someone who is better for you just be patient and the right one will come along

that's because you love love too much and as the saying goes, too much of anything is bad. maybe it's time you went back to the basic human instinct of self preservation and try not to fall head over heels inlove. it doesn't hurt to hold back a bit to protect yourself when things go bad because as you know they always do.
