I'm in Waipahu where it reached the early 60's at night and during the daytime temperatures up to the 83. Winds have gotten up to 40 mph so it becomes a very chilly night.

Type in a zip code like 96797 then it will change the location. It will give you the temperature, rain fall, weather alerts.

It's pretty much the same as the climate in June.. however winter is the rainy season and thus there may be more rainy days, but you'll always find some spot with sun. The Leeward (west) side of the islands almost always are sunny, and the Winward (mountain/east) sides are usually always cloudy.

Right now I am in Honolulu and it is 11 pm in December. The weather is about 70 degrees F and I am sitting down with my windows open and shirt off as I am typing this.

You cant do this anywhere else in the U.S.!

Michael W. is correct. Temps. can run around from the 60s-70s. I remember growing up on the Windward side (like Kane'ohe), it was usually more rainy and I could see the waterfalls from the mountains through my bedroom window:) The Leeward side (like Honolulu) is more sunny.

lows in the upper 60 highs in the upper 70.
On the North side of the islands, it tends to be overcast a lot. The water is coming from Alaska and the waves are awesome.
South side of the island, the waters are calmer.

At night I sometimes have to wear jeans. And maybe a long sleeve shirt, or even a sweater. During the day it's warm.
