I have known this guy for a long time and we have always been friends. I had my birthday in september and he asked my best friend if he could ask me out and she said no, because I never thought of him like that. But after a long night we talked and I told him we could try if it was okay with one of our friends (who likes him)
He talked to her and she said she wants us to go out because we are both her friends and she wants us to be happy... well.... now it is like a few months later.... nothing....
Then he askes about dinner one night and I could not go because I was going away. Then about two weeks later.. (last week) he wants to go out for dinner and a movie.. I decide to go and give it a try. Well so that night comes.. and he invited our friend the one who liked him to come with us. The whole night was werid... and he was werid... and he has not talked to me since....
What do I do? What is with him?

Talk to him i mean maybe he was just nervous to be aloe with you one the first date and maybe he's shy but if you think its something different like he likes your friend now then just let him go and just carry on with your friendship
