My fiance has a friend who he just found out died today. I never met her, how can I make this an easier time for him?

The best thing you can do is just be there. Tell him you are there if he wants to talk, but don't try to force him to. Everyone grieves in their own way, and their own time. Just be there.

I'm 50 years old and I lost a dear friend this past Wednesday, I've known him since 6th grade, that's a long time. like the others said, be there for him, let him talk about the things that are on his mind it will help him feel better, grieving and accepting death are normal feelings those feeling let us know were alive.

Just be supportive. Talking about the person may help him to remember the good times. Even though you did not know the person go with him to the funeral.

just be there for him, let him show you what he needs. sometimes listening is all that someone needs.
