I love it! But I know, no one drinks it. It's because our society has become so health concious and it's really sugary and unhealthy.

Now a days people are into healthy, or 100 % juice drinks. So Koolaid as good as it is, is basically sugar water, and most parents want their kids to have something a little healthier.

Koolaide is more popular than you think. It's just not hyped as much these days. I still drink it but buy sugar-free. If you mix a red flavor like cherry or fruit punch with lemonade in a gallon pitcher it's incredibly refreshing. I've served it to company (spiked and plain) and I always get requests for the "recipe." They die laughing when I tell them what it is.
I do agree with those who said people are lazy and don't want to mix it. It's easier to purchase single-serving boxed drinks at four times the price!

For one it takes to much work to make it. People want to have it all ready to go and not have to add and stir in a bunch of stuff. Plus people are way more into healthy real juice.

Because it is NOT juice. It is flavored sugar water. There really is not much nutritional food value to it. They might add vitamins to it, but it is still not as good for you.

I think people are becoming more aware of the problems with sugar and artificial colors and switching to drinks that are more healthful.

well it is full of sugar and dye. But I think the main reason is no one wants to bother making it. They would rather buy premade juice (capri sun)

I think people are more careful about artificial dyes and white sugar for health reasons.
