Does anyone know of a place that will loan $125 to me until Dec 29,2006?

I really need $125 bad. I have been turned down everyplace. I even tried a cash loan but they said I have to be actively employed along with my social security pay.

If you've been turned down for $125 I don't know...maybe I would just not buy or get that thing. If it's necessary (to pay a bill), then ask yourself what you have that you'd be willing to lose?

You didn't say where you live. In the U.S., one place is a pawn shop. You hand over something valuable, you get a loan, you must pay back with interest by a deadline. If you can't, you lose it. Or you can just straight-out sell them something.

They won't give you the full retail value, of course...they need to sell it and make some profit if you can't make good on your loan. In the U.S., these places are liscenced, I think (I've never used one). I would look up some in the phone book, call the Better Business Bureau and make sure no complaints are filed against them (or if so, were satisfactorily resolved), make sure they are a member in good standing (so you know they're legit.

If you don't even have time for that, do you know a police officer or two in the city? Ask them for names of some legit shops. Police are generally very familiar with pawn shops because theives often try to "pawn" stolen goods, and are used to getting help from these shops, or the shops will report suspicious goods to them...so the police generally know which shops are reputable.
