I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Many mistakenly believe that we are not christians, because we often don't use "Christ" in the name of our faith and also because we do not celebrate Christmas. sometimes, however, we call ourselves "Jehovah's Christian Witnesses" if we want to clear up the misunderstanding. Also, Christmas is not a Christian celebration. Look it up in any encyclopaedia which refers to Christmas in great historical detail and you will likely find descriptions of it's pagan origins.

Many mistake us for Mormons, but while there may be a small number of similarities, we are not the same. Our core beliefs are different.

We have been labelled "pacifist" due to the fact that we don't go to war. However, pacifists do not go to war for any reason. In a sense, they worship peace. Jehovah's Witnesses are peaceful and makers of peace, because that's the way Jehovah and Jesus commanded it. However, Jehovah is the same God who wiped out many cities, tribes and nations in Bible times. He did this to wipe out pure evil. He also commanded the Israelites to take the land of Canaan by force. Theoretically, we could take up arms like the Israelites if we were commanded to do so, but we are not and never will be. The reason we do not go to war is because our nation is God's Kingdom, not the country we live in. We obey the local laws, but we do not fight for someone else's nation.

We are falsely labelled child killers by some who are extremely antagonistic towards us. This is because we refuse blood transfusions on scriptural grounds. (Acts 15) Blood is considered sacred and it's only proper use is in sacrifice, such as the animal sacrifices of the Bible and the Messianic sacrifice of Jesus. However, many of the children who are in a position to do so, freely refuse blood themselves and would be deeply pained if a transfusion was forced on them. Also, we might look at it this way: if we disobey God, we run the risk of losing out on the blessing of eternal life on Earth. In that case, we will die sooner or later anyway, with no prospect of any other type of life. If we obey God, we may well lose our lives as a direct result, but we will be resurrected to the paradise Earth to enjoy life for ever.

On a long and lonesome highway, east of Omaha
You can listen to the engines moanin' out it's one old song
You can think about the woman, or the girl you knew the night before
But your thoughts will soon be wanderin', the way they always do
When you're ridin' 16 hours, and there's nothin' much to do
And you don't feel much like ridin', you just wish the trip was
through
Here I am, on the road again, there I am, up on the stage
There I go, playin' star again, there I go, turn the page
So you walk into this restaurant, uh strung out from the road
And you feel the eyes upon you, as you're shakin' off the cold
You pretend it doesn't bother you, but you just want to explode
Yeah, most times you can't hear 'em talk, other times you can
All the same old cliché's, is it woman, is it man
And you always seem outnumbered, you don't dare make a stand

Make your stand
Ah
But here I am, on the road again, there I am, up on the stage
Here I go, ah playin' star again, there I go, turn the page
Woah
Out there in the spotlight, you're a million miles away
Every ounce of energy, you try and give away
As the sweat pours out your body, like the music that you play
Later in the evenin', as you lie awake in bed
With the echoes of the amplifiers, ringin' in your head
You smoke the day's last cigarette, rememberin' what she said
What she said
Yeah, and here I am, on the road again, there I am, up on that stage
Here I go, playin' star again, there I go, turn the page
And there I go, turn that page
There I go, yeah, Here I go, yeah, yeah
There I go, yeah, Here I go, yeah
Here I go-oh-o, There I go
And I'm gone

why are people so obsessed with religion...it amazes me..

I am a Christian...does it matter what denomination...my beliefs are mine, why would I want to share them with others...to me a Persons beliefs are between them and their God.

Or if they are of any other denomination that does not believe in the same God as me well thats also their business.

RESPECT for others diversity, culture, beliefs should be what every living person should do and believe in but unfortunately that does not happen nor do I think it ever will....mores the pity.

Will get off my Soap Box Now. Have a Nice Day.

No I highly do no longer advise it! you need to chorus from utilizing the tanning mattress till your tattoo is thoroughly healed. Please note the photo voltaic and the tanning beds will reason your tattoo to vanish in colour. also you do not opt to conceal your new tattoo up with some thing till its healed. once you first get it done it could be wrapped up, yet after about and hour once you've the tattoo done it could be bumped off. masking your tattoo up slows down the healing procedure, can convey extra of the colour out, may reason it to get aggravate and or contaminated. Plus masking your tattoo at any time interior the tanning mattress or at the same time as your tanning outdoors will reason you to have a mild patch of epidermis the position you coved it may look terrible.

I am a deist, or so I have been told. I believe in God. I do not believe in religion or their books. There are many roads to God, he does not care which road, or no road, that you take.

I believe that we live multiple lives in an effort to educate our soul. Most souls cross over, religion has nothing to do with it.

I believe that a person is born with their sexuality.

I believe that there is no hell, sin, or satan. Those are man made words, not God made.

Love is all that matters, regardless of religious affiliation. If the world's people would but only love (treat) others as they would want to be loved (treated), we would go far in fixing the world's problems of hunger, homelessness, etc.
