Yes. Personal encounter. Looking back to my childhood before I knew who God is I can see His presence in my life. He is always faithful. He speaks to me...I speak to Him.

Yes because he sent his son to die on the cross for my sins.

Also, the New Testament has 13,000 surviving copies from 125-325 AD which is huge compared to the second most which is the Illiad which has 643 copies from 400 BC.

You may ask "how can you know for sure?"
- Well you just have to have faith

Here is Pascal's Wager (yes, he is the same mathematician who made the triangle):
1. If you believe and God does exist you have infinite gain
2. If you believe and God doesn't exist than there is no gain/loss
3. If you don't believe and God doesn't exist than there is no gain/loss
4. But most importantly, if you don't believe and God does exist, you have infinite loss.

I hope this helps. I am taking a Christian Apologetics (not apologizing) class and I have tons more interesting info I can share.

Yes, I believe in God. I have spoken to Him, and He responds to me. When I have called upon his power, he has responded. When I am sad and I wish to be comforted, he's given me peace. When I wish to feel love, he reminds me that I am his child and he loves me no matter what. I have been through so much and he continues to carry me through life.

I can give you a very long answer about faith and how I cannot see God but I do not need to see him in order to feel his power. I could explain to you that in the Bible the word in Hebrew Ruha means wind, spirit, and breath. The ruha of God is ever present. I could sit here and explain to you how I know God, and what I do in church to experience him.

But, in short, I will simply say this. I believe in God because He believed in me when no one else did.

I do, because the truth is right in front of my face. God revealed that truth to me, and ill use it to show people the light who are headed for darkness.
