just need something to take for the minor gallstone attacks that I'm getting every few days. I cant get the surgery for another couple of months

advill or ibuprofen is an antiinflamatory that would be better for the pain. 800mg ever 8 hours is what my surgeon recommended prior to my gall bladder surgery. If you already have a surgeon he may prescribe something stronger. Make sure you eat something with it. 800mg is the prescription strength. Good luck. My daughter just had her gall bladder out on Dec. 4th.You could also try a very low fat diet.

Plain and Extra Strength Tylenol does not have caffeine in it.Tylenol Ultra does. Ibuprophen( Advil) is not recommended for pregnant women

Over the counter stuff may work but I don't know for sure.
I do know that you should eat boiled foods and cut out the spicy stuff.....yeah!, I know boiled food is terrible but you will have little or no pain if you do.

yeah thats wut I did..then after my surgery they gave me tylenol 3
