You can keep in touch with them every day through MSN and make sure you have a webcam. Then you can tell them all about your adventures here and still get to "see" them every day. My niece just moved here from England and is going through the same thing. MSN is pretty much her life-line to home.

You will make tons of friends in Canada. We are friendly people. I have lots of friends in the States. I stay connected with them through Yahoo. Plus your friends can come visit the greatest country in the World!!

You do know that we have telephones, email access and a crappy mail company, planes, trains and automobiles, if those aren't good you can get the native indians to teach you how to do smoke signals
