I love this recipe - tried and tested!
Raw prawns (pref king prawns but smaller ones wil do) in shells
Loads of freshly ground salt and pepper, crushed coriander seed and crushed dried chillis.
Put spices into a dry pan. Fry until you can smell them.
Add prawns - cook until cooked!
Now the spices are stuck all over the shells. You just pull off the legs and head and eat! (I eat the body part of the shell but then Im a bit wierd)
I have made these with peeled prawns and they are good too.

Since shrimps need little cooking, chop up some spring onions, some fresh chilli (to taste), garlic and throw all into a wok and fry for a couple of minutes.Add a little lemon juice and seasoning.you could throw in some stir fry veggies and noodles ... all at the same time!! Yum!!

If they are really fresh ones, then the best way is to simply fry them in a little butter and olive oil, garlic, freshly squeezed lime juice and sliced green chillies. Some rock salt and freshly milled black pepper in at the end, served with a warm crusty loaf and home made mayo! You can't beat it! Great fun to eat with friends too :-)

Shrimp Scampi
24 large shrimp (about 1-1/2 pounds total)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons minced garlic
1/3 cup minced shallots
2 cups dry white wine
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon finely chopped Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
2 teaspoons snipped fresh thyme
Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact; sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Set aside.
In a large skillet, combine butter and olive oil. Heat over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute. Add shallots; cook and stir until tender, about 3 minutes. Add shrimp, wine, lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon salt; bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 2 to 3 minutes or until shrimp turn opaque, stirring occasionally. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon; cover and keep warm.
Continue to gently boil liquid in skillet, uncovered, about 15 minutes or until liquid is slightly thickened and reduced to about 1 cup. Stir in parsley and thyme.
Return shrimp to skillet and toss gently to coat with liquid in skillet. Transfer to a serving dish; serve warm.

any shrimp scampi recipe is good. You could add Tony Sacher's (however you spell it) to the shrimp to give it that spice!
