When you say "invalid" do you mean it has been revoked or suspended? The answer would be no. Years ago, maybe. But since the computer era, all states are cross-referencing their driving records and a suspension in one state will carry over to another state preventing you from gettign a new license.

If by invalid you mean suspended, no, you can't. Once you have a suspended license in one state, it's suspended in all states. Even if you like and claim to have never been licensed, once they run your name and social security number the suspension will come up. Plus you can't get a license in a state unless you are a resident of that state anyway.

Depends on why your license is invalid. If you just let it expire you might be able to get another if you take the test again. If you had it revoked, they will see that in their computer. Remember, you're required to give your social security number when you get your drivers license now so they can easily pull up any other licenses you have in the whole country.

Some states will "talk to one another" about this. If you are getting a license in a state that is not next to yours you might be able to get a license there. Usually ajoining states will exchange records on drivers.

No, you cannot. When you go to get another license, you are first checked out in the national database (as someone else said). I have had this happen to me. From Kansas to Missouri.

Sadly, I think you can. I do not recommend it because if you get into an accident they may find out.
