OVEN BARBECUED CHICKEN

1 chicken, cut up
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. butter
Barbecue sauce enough to cover chicken

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter in foil-lined baking pan in oven as it preheats. Rinse chicken in cold water (after removing skin to cut down on fat) and drain on paper towels. Mix flour, salt and paprika in a paper bag. Shake chicken in this mixture until well coated. Place in pan of melted butter.
Bake for 30 minutes. Turn chicken over and cover each piece with barbecue sauce. Bake another 20 to 30 minutes.

Just make the chicken as you would baked chicken and then the last 10-15 min. brush on the sauce. When we cook ours we cover the chicken with aluminum for 30 minutes, remove the aluminum and drain most of the fat. and then during the last 20-30min. drench (pour lots of sauce) it in the sauce. It comes out really good.

Just pre set your oven to about 350* place the chicken in a bakeing dish and baste it with the sauce and place in oven every 10 - 15 minutes re-baste let cook for about 1 hour continuously basting every so often and after about 1 hour slice a hole in the chicken and check for blood if no blood enjoy!!
Also if you have just regular BBQ 16oz. sauce puor it into a bowl and 1/4 cup of Ketchup and 2 table spoons of worcheshire sauce and a table spoon or two of Jack Daniels and 1/4 cup of brown sugar it should be a pretty good BBQ sauce

I make some truly sturdy bar-b-que poultry. First, take the poultry and prepare dinner it in the crockpot (conceal it with water and then upload a pair of million/2 cup of the sauce). prepare dinner it various hours on low. while the poultry is achieved, take it out of the crock pot, placed it on a shallow baking dish and canopy with sauce. prepare dinner at approximately 350 for kind of 20 minutes. it is going to pop out soft sufficient to decrease with a fork and intensely tasty.
