I wore braces for about three years. Then I got retainers. I wore them everyday for about a year, then I started wearing them every other day. After a while I wore them only and night and I eventually stopped wearing them. I noticed my teeth were starting to go crooked again, but my retainers don't exactly fit anymore. They will still go on my teeth and stay there, but just not completly. If I keep putting them on my teeth will they eventually fit again?

If you can get them on then your teeth should move back.Your mouth will be sore but it will work. If they do not go on at all don't force them you might have to have to see your orthodontist.

You should have kept wearing them at night forever. Your teeth probably started to shift into their old places before you got braces. You should go to the orthodontist ASAP before your teeth shift out of place too much, or you might have to get braces again. You just probably need a new retainer.

The retainer became into to hold them in place as quickly as the braces got here off. while they moved, the retainer isn't able to help them. in the event that they at the instant are not undesirable, the dentist can use the retainer as a gadget to pass them back yet you will could pass in and spot. once you start up creating wealth, think of roughly paying your moms and dads back the money they threw away on getting your tooth right away.

Possibly so- if you have coverage- i would probably go to the dentist if possible and get fitted with another one. And if it doesn't fit completely now- it'll give you a headache since it will be trying to push your teeth back in line with the retainer. good luck though.

I imagine it would be painful if you tried to make them fit your teeth again. I think you should go to an orthodontist and have them see what they can do.

you might want to see your dentist for a consult so he can take a look at the retainer for a professional advice which will be more helpful than one on the web.
