Because it challenges them to think, and independent thought is difficult for many. It is so much easier to have "truth" handed to you in black and white by the church, regardless of the illogicality or the hypocrisy of that "truth".
Good luck with the campaign. I will not be joining, but I certainly see the value of calling in to question the right-wing xian views that dominate our western culture.
I also love the "Evolution of the Christian" poster. For the folks that are to busy to look it it up on the website, it shows a monkey evolving into a monkey with a gun and sign that states "God Hates Fags"

Well for one thing it's offensive to Christians. You don't see me setting up a site that's titled say no to atheist. I'm sorry if you've ever had the word shoved down you're throat, because a lot of so called Christians don't know that their not supposed to do this. If the belief of Jesus was presented to you and you rejected it it's you're problem. No one should be slapping you upside you're head with the Bible, the time will come...either you come on you're own or you don't come at all. It's you're soul you can do as you please. :| Oh and just to let you know I'm a christian.

How does Jesus affect you?? He has done nothing to you...in tht case why not make a say NO to Santa Claus campaign?? I mean, you do think Jesus is a fairy tale, right?hmm..or don't you? maybe you dont like Jesus because you believe He is the Son of God and you refuse to live His way.

For people that don't need hope or inner peace I think it's a great campaign. For myself, I choose Jesus.

I don't care about the no to jesus campaign,
as there are believers and non believers, I am
a believer and if others want to believe some-
thing else well go ahead.

I have nothing against the movement personally. I think the language is a bit harsh. But you are entitle just as I am entitled to believe.

Maybe because it goes against everything I have been taught to believe and it offends me that you are pushing your idealistic views on everyone and you expect them to embrace your question?

It is fortunate that we live in a country where people can believe and say what they believe. But, when you say what you believe; expect other to agree, disagree, or ignore you. Stop whining.

Why are you trying to silence an entire group of people?
No one's forcing you to believe... just let Christians believe what they want.
