Yeah, I am considered to be pretty good in forms and techniques in martial arts(wadoryu karate and ITF TKD), but I sort of want to learn how to do flips and tricks... Can anyone give me some suggestions of what to do?

There isn't much to learn, it's more a matter of physical conditioning. I know how to do a back flip, but I can't pull one off before I hit the ground.

Capoeira specializes in techniques involving cartwheels, sommersaults, and flips. I don't think it an effective martial art, but it's absolutely great for muscle conditioning and control, flexibility, and dexterity.

All these fancy techniques you see in the movies are done by stuntmen. And the training stuntmen get is in gymnastics. Becoming a trickster may be exciting and enjoyable to perform but bottom line, it is not that effective. So don't look for martial arts school that will teach this stuff. Rather take some gymnastic classes and splice your knowledge of martial arts with the skills you will learn being a gymnist.

like the person above said capoiera has a lot of tricks moves the performance wushu does too other than that you should probably look into gymnastics...

heres a few websites i refer to for trick moves
http://www.trickstersonline.com/
http://www.trickstutorials.com/
however i do have to recommend having a spotter more perferribly a trained spotter watchin u do ur tricks due to the injuries you can get by practicing

anyways if you want to learn just tricks i'd say go for gymnastics to focus on flipping because even tho capoeira does use some flips and stuff when i was in it we only practiced about 10-20min tops on those moves each practice so you might get more out of gymnastics
