i am currently read the National Geographic and curious about the race of Filipinos in the Philippines, any ideas? Thanks and Godbless!

Just got done with my final exam for ASAN 203: Philippine Studies last friday.
Theres 2 different hypothesis of how Filipinos originally came to the Philippines, both starting in mainland Asia.
Todays Filipinos are mixed from many generations ago.. Chinese.. Spanish from when Spain came in to take over the Philippines back in the 1800s.. many others

Filipinos come from a number of place, and over time, they all look "Filipino." In short, people from Malaysia and southwest Asia migrated to the Philippine Islands many thousands of years ago...In the recent 700 years, Chinese and European immigrants also came to the Philippines and procreated with the locals.
