The hateful responses are comming from people who think they are educated, the truth of the matter is that they are a bunch of hillbillies who need to quit breeding with their siblings and get a clue. Its all these fanatics that destroy the true meaning of God, they act like they have God's number on speed dial and his e-mail in their address book. I have a great idea for a play, I want to put God on trial, an try him in absentia, for the witnesses on Gid's behalf I would use people actors dressed like the pope, pat robertson, jerry falwell etc. He would be found guilty for crimes against humanity. He'd show up for the sentencing, (you wouldn't see him just hear him) when he was given the opportunity to speak he would say that the people that testified on his behalf don't speak for him, that they don't represent him. What do you think

You're getting some spiteful responses here. I personally think that its a valid question.
If God is 3 in 1, who was Jesus praying to? Why would Jesus refer to himself in 3rd person if he was talking about God the Father? How would Stephen the martyr see the Son of God standing at the right hand of God? How would Jesus emerge from the river Jordan having been baptized with the voice of God coming down from heaven saying 'This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased'? Why would he ask on the cross at his most desperate hour, my God my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
All of this doctrine of the Trinity stems from the verse 'I and the Father are one'.
Well, what about John 17: 'That they all may be one, as thou, Father art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us' and then later 'that they may be one, even as we are one'
The same root words for all three instances use the word 'one' the same way. John didn't mean physically, he meant one in purpose, one in power, one in government, one in glory. Just like Jesus wanted his disciples to be one within themselves as apostles, one with Jesus who was their leader of the church, one with God the Father who should be obeyed.
So 300 years after Christ we get this council of 'learned' clergymen who gather together and decide that the universal accepted view is that the trinity involves the 3 in 1 doctrine now popularly held even today. But even back then, not all of them agreed. They were later 'dealt' with.
You need to question everything. Because once upon a time, not all of Christendom had believed this doctrine up to 300 to 400 years AD.

It is not God you mock because you reap what you sow.
But I am not angry with you because you are lonely you have not been able to grow up. I would recommend you see a councilor because you are depraved and probably still a virgin and sexually inadequate yet sexually frustrated thus you take it out on God and you have a strange fascination with men. I think you may have homosexual tendencies. Did your genitals develop properly?

You are the mental case. You are the one who needs a cure. I pity you, you who do not find time to discern and find wisdom. Your brain is dysfunctional, because you want it to be dysfunctional. Hey your puny little brain is not even a pea in the ocean. You are so arrogantly brain dead.
