Well. England is cold and rainy too but hey, those Scots sure are bitter.

Cate: That's such a twatty answer. Really, get a life, love.

Hey spoofred: 1) English girls are prettier. 2) Why would a Scottish pub refuse to serve us, unless they are bitter thus proving the questioner's point and 3) Sassonack? The word, correctly spelt is Sassenach. Inferior Scottish education by any chance? It might be free but it clearly SUCKS.

Bitter, let me think about this? I'm Scottish and...

Yesterday, popped down the dentist and got an appointment no problem. Juxtapose that with other parts of Britain and you might have to wait months.

Today, went to university; didn't cost me a penny. Compare that with other parts of Britain and you probably have to pay top up fees.

Went out last night; some ignorant, pathetic people and some, nice, friendly people with interesting things to say. Compare that to other parts of Britain and you find the same.

You, my friend, need to go out more...

Because it is and you would be in a bad mood too if you lived where it was always cold and rainy.

Well, it's kind of insulting. It's not always cold, not always rainy, and not all Scots are bitter.
But you already knew that.

Scotland and Scots have capital S, and there should be a comma after cold, other than that, fine
