I think that i am in love for the first time! When i am around him i feel all light and i get goose bumps! i love that feeling but is it love?

in my oppinon what you have stated alone is not my kind of love! so I will answer, "NO"!
Theres different levels of true love.
Human's are social creatures so we need others to feel good, some people go through a period where they strongly feel like they can not stand people, but we all are created equal, in one way or another! We require association with others!
What your describing is lust! True love takes time and youo have to ask yourself this question: Can you live without him and still go on, would you become depressed not having him with you, would you want to die if he passed away, would you do ANYTHING he wanted to please him, do you trust him? (with your life) these are the types of questions that you have to answer, merely getting goose bumps-I get those when I hear a good love song, that does not mean that I am in love with that song? NO! I also get light headed at the gas station, it does not mean I like gas!

I think you know you are in love when you've had no contact with the person in question for 3 years, (like myself) and can still not stop thinking or dreaming (in sleep) of that person. If you're still in high school, then you're not in love. Once you get to college have become a senior, and the above has happened, then you're in love.

A lot of people on this site ask this question and there is truly only one answer to it, YOU are the only one that knows when you are in love. So when you are in love you will know it. I really, truly thought I was in love one time, but I wasn't exactly sure. Then I remembered the verses in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (in the Bible) that say exactly what love is:
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
THAT's what love is!

When you know you know and you wont have any second guesses..just one day it is gonna hit and you are gonna be like woww i love this guy..it might be just lust for now but it can develop into love..once you get more comfortable and just know he has made an impact on you you will know..you will know

It's hard to explain, but it is just a feeling only you know. You feel that, that person makes you feel complete, you can just smile out on the blue just thinking about them, you are willing to put your life on the line for that person........

if you have to ask, then you are not in love. it is just lust now, you will know when you love someone. but you also need to know the difference between love and lust, you are feeling lust now, and you will know for sure when you love someone.
