Diversity is a good thing to an extent as long as one government does not meddle with another there shouldn’t be much of a need to make them all the same. See if i hate my government I can always move to another country.
On another standpoint if we all had the same government then people would stop supporting nationalism, America would probably be deeply affected by loosing their money, but the world as a whole would benefit moneywise, there would not really be a good way to monitor each country there would be cultural issues for laws, religions would conflict more than ever with each other trying to put their laws into effect over another religion.
Mainly I think the Cons outweigh the Pros in a universal government.

Unfortunately, this is the conclusion we all will eventually come to. There is no way that the Muslims will negotiate peace with anyone. So we will start in the direction of a one world government-a "New World Order", if you will. Once control is established, then, enter the anti-Christ in the form of a real compassionate lover of all people-the false Messiah. The whole world will accept his as their leader. Israel will sign a 7 year peace treaty and the whole world will rejoice. Then slowly peace will fail. A little here, a little there-then in 3 1/2 years all hell will break loose. Most of the inhabitants of this earth will die, before the next 3 1/2 years are up. It will be bad.

NO, DEFINITELY NOT. for if this happened each nation would lose is sovereign power to govern itself and the country in question would be at the mercy of other foreign powers unfamiliar with the problems. too many ladies and gentlemen have given their lives to keep us free and we need to maintain that freedom at any cost. B. Franklin said, " those who are willing to give up a little freedom for safety deserve neither freedom nor safety. "

No, the citizens of one country debate on issues that their government has. Multiple that by number of people with different cultures, traditions, and religions in the world? No way.

No. It's quite obvious from just looking at Iraq that the world cannot agree on anything that involves governing people. Too many cultures, beliefs, ideologies, etc.

One size does NOT fit all.
