Elderly cats are less active than younger ones so would benefit from a bit of warmth. I used to have a cat when i was younger and it had this special fluffy seat that fixed to the radiator. My cat loved it as she was warm and if she got too hot, she would leave the seat. So just have the heat higher in this one room where the cat seat could be fitted. Then both u & ur cat will be happy.

depends how old. When they're very old they do feel the cold alot just like an old person. Fur or no fur. It's the fat under the skin that protects vital organs from dropping in temperature. Very old cats can get very skinny, just skin and bone and the fur is thinner. Their metabolism is also much slower. What about leaving just one room for her that's a few degrees warmer?

I had a siamese blend who did that...this is all in the form you manage a cat however...while you're type and loving to them they'll love you...and a few cats basically have a diverse temperment than others...i for my section do not think of it has something to do with the breed...my cat replaced into referred to as Turdy Cat...and he replaced into consistently with me...my superb chum...I lost him while Katrina blew with the aid of Mississippi yet I nonetheless omit him and picture of him plenty...he replaced into fairly particular...

I would think the cat will be ok...Maybe have a fluffy lined cat bed just in case kitty needs some extra warmth that it won't get from the floor..

No not if you make sure the cat has a nice cosy bed with a blanket (fleece would be good) your cat should be fine.

I used to volunteer at my local cat shelter & we used to use heat pads for the cats in winter. Very good especially for older or ill cats as it makes them feel more comfy. You can buy at bigger pet stores I think

Poor thing is probably aching bone through. like older people, old animals just don't put out the heat like the younger ones do.

If her ears and paws are cold then she could do with it a couple of degrees warmer. I agree with the fleece igloo idea.
