Technically, it depends on why you think they are stupid.

If you think they are stupid because of their religious beliefs, then yes, you are an intolerant bigot.

However, if your conclusion on their stupidity has nothing to do with religion (which I highly doubt) then no, you are not intolerant--you are just ignorant.

To categorize any one group of people as being stupid (or any similar category) is ignorance. The "reasoning" behind such a categorization determines if it is also intolerant.

Some of my friends are Wiccans and they have the most beautiful souls ever!

And, no - they will not do hocus-pocus on you, If you had any idea what they actually do, you would be ashamed of your words.

YES, YOU ARE VERY INTOLERANT!

Actually, it does make you intolerant. You are judging an entire group of people whom you don't even know.

Try this experiment - in your question substitute the world Black, Mexican, Women, or Jews for the word Wiccans. How does the question sound to you now?

A

You're welcome to think whatever you want. But based on your question and your reference to "hocus pocus" it seems to me that you don't know enough about Wicca to know what we believe.

So it's not so much an issue of you being intolerant, but rather that you're simply ignorant. It's amazing how often those two traits coincide.

How smart are you? What do you know about Wicca? Do you realize that Christianity steals all of its holidays from pagans? Educate yourself, or you are the one that appears stupid. Besides, a true wiccan would not bother with you...what you do to someone comes back on you three-fold...Karma will take care of you.

Have you met every Wiccan in the world?
If not, you can't judge them all.
You can say that you don't agree with the principals of Wicca, but to condemn them all is absurd.
So yes... you are intolerant.

if you reword it to say "i think the wiccan religion is rather bogus" it would be better.
but really intolerant, as used in it's present definition basically is just a word to prevent people from disagreeing and having differences of oppinions.

Goes to show that you really don't know anything about Wicca.

For thousands of years Paganism was the only religion. For another few thousand years the only religions were Judaism & Peaganism.
It might suprise you to know that every Christian holiday is founded in Peganism.

Yes it does, because intolerant means not putting up with or allowing something or someone.
