To concentrate better

You close your eyes to focus on the moment. Kissing is intimate and special. I think sometimes more rewarding then sex. Imagine how wonderful it feels to daydream. To have thoughts about what could be and how great it would make you feel. Now try to imagine daydreaming while getting a tooth pulled. It would be awkward and uncomfortable. When you speak to someone you look at them and make eye contact, imagine talking to someone who always has their eyes closed when they speak. its a comfort thing, an intimacy thing. It just works better that way. You kiss you mom with yours eyes open not your sweetheart.

It is a personal choice whether or not you kiss with your eyes closed. Some people say it makes you more focused on the kiss itself, but it's really up to you. Good luck!

I close my eyes cause the kiss is absolutely awesome! I open them too, but I don't stare at the person or look at the time! LOL.

It depends on the kiss. If its a quick smooch, my eyes are open, I don't really want to bump noses or aim blindly.

It's their (not there) and they do it because an up close, fuzzy view of your partner's eyeball or pores on their face, isn't real appealing or sexy. Open-eyed kissing also seems as though it's robotic and the parties are just doing it...closing eyes allows you to become engulfed in the passion....

I do it for few reasons...
1. I don't want my eyes to cross because of the proximity
2. If it is a somewhat "new" partner it can be uncomfortable to gaze into each others eyes (kind of like the first time you hold hands)
3. It allows you to fully embrace the moment

So you don't look crosseyed at the person you're kissing, also to concentrate on the physical sensation of the kiss better without being distracted by that one weird hair they have growing out the side of their ear........

Well geez randylee..............try it...........with one closeing ones eyes, it's not your eyes feeling the moment! With the eyes closed your other senses kick in and make it more enjoyable.

It's not that great if the other is a bad kisser tho. lol

so their eyelashes don't poke you in the eye. There is something odd about opening your eyes when you're kissing...I have to actually want to look into their eyes to do it.

because it is strange when your face is so close to someone and you are kissing them.. and then your eyes are open.. it's kind of creepy.. but then I hear that some do want their eyes open.. >_>;
