My sister has a degree in psychology, but because she is terrified of the "job interview process", she has settled for driving a taxi to make money. There is nothing wrong with driving a taxi, but when you have a recognized degree that could bring you good potential earning power, there is no reason to be driving a taxi to be making a living. The reason she went for the Taxi job is because there was no interview.

My sister has a 9 year old daughter, and I am seriously worried about her future. My sister is a single mother as well, so there is no father figure for my niece, no one else to turn to when in need, except perhaps myself.

I would talk to my sister about it, but she is notoriously stubborn. She resists good advice... always. She resents anyone telling her what's best for her, and usually will just run away from her problems and ignore them.

Anyone out there with a similar experience. What worked for you? What didn't work. Any advice on the issue would be great.

Well your sister has just wasted her degree and she has a degree in psychology if she cant handle an interview how will she be able to handle other peoples problems if she cant handle her own. She should be thinking about the welfare of her child
